Did you know that about 92% of sudden cardiac arrest victims die before reaching the hospital, but statistics prove that if more people knew CPR, more lives could be saved?  Immediate CPR can double, or even triple, a victims's chance of survival.  This is according to the American Heart Association website www.heart.org

Safety of our employees is something that we take very seriously here at Davies Molding.  We understand the importance and that is why we just held a CPR and first aid training course for our employees.

We certified a group of employees in CPR and first aid through the American Heart Association.  The training course taught us how to handle emergency situations that could arise at our plant.  We were taught first aid techniques for injuries and were trained in performing CPR and operating an AED machine.  These are all very important things that can help save lives as we wait for the medical professionals to arrive. This knowledge is something we will have available to use both at Davies and outside of work.

For more information on CPR and first aid training, please visit www.heart.org.  Think safety first!
