Davies Molding products are RoHS-2 compliant. What exactly does that mean?

According to the RoHS guide website, www.rohsguide.com, RoHS is an acronym for Restriction of Hazardous Substances. RoHS originated in the European Union and it restricts the use of specific hazardous materials found in electrical and electronic products.

RoHS regulations were put in place to help eliminate dangerous substances. The substances that are tested for RoHS compliance are Lead, Cadium, Mercury, Hexavalent chronium, Polybrominated biphenyls and Polybrominated diphenyl ethers.

Why is RoHS compliance important?

It's important to us at Davies Molding because we want to eliminate the risks these elements create for the environment along with the health dangers.
